"On the run"

This is my portrait of a horse with its head in the wind, letting the hairs of its manes flow. The painting is done in the style of the ‘old masters’ meaning it is painted in layers of oil paint on top of each other. Finished of wit some translucent paint on some parts, leaving a glaze to accentuate the details.

The painting is done with the finest oil paints on the best canvas. With these materials the piece gets what it deserves, and makes the brush strokes look extraordinary good.
The whole thing is finished off with a protective layer of varnish to protect the painting for ever, and makes the colours and brush strokes pop out even more.
